About us
We are an international church, in Lisbon, Portugal. Our journey to love and serve the people of our city began in January 2020 and it has been an incredible adventure so far. We have seen God do remarkable things and have seen an amazing community form, even during the Covid-19 pandemic.
At the beginning of February 2021 we received the keys to a permanent venue, 300 meters from the Rato metro station in Príncipe Real, and we started meeting there since Sunday 25 April.
You are welcome to join us on Sunday at one of our meetings either at 16:30 or 18:15. Check out social media for updates.
Our dream is to create an environment where we see people come alive in God, where their gifts flourish and where they live with audacious faith!
Table Communities
Table Communities are the heartbeat of discipleship at Freedom City. These smaller groups are where faith grows deep, friendships form, and life is shared together around the table. Each Table Community meets in homes in an intimate and welcoming setting. They are centered around the table, a beautiful picture of Communion (the Lord’s Supper), reminding us of what Jesus has done for us and how we’re called to live in fellowship with one another.
When you become part of the church, we’ll invite you to join a Table Community where you can open the Bible together, pray together, share stories, celebrate, and walk through both victories and challenges side by side.
